Snowguard is Amka Alerk, a young Inuit hero from Pangnirtung, Nunavut, who gains the ability to shapeshift into animals drawn from Inuit mythology after bonding with the ancient spirit Sila. She joins the Champions alongside fellow teen heroes like Ms. Marvel and Miles Morales.
