Sapphire Stagg is the daughter of wealthy and unscrupulous industrialist Simon Stagg. She first appeared alongside her father and his brutish enforcer Java, and her romance with Rex Mason set in motion the events that transformed him into the shape-shifting adventurer Metamorpho.

Born into the Silver Age pages of The Brave and the Bold #57 in 1964, Sapphire Stagg is one of DC's most enduring supporting players — a figure whose presence has wound through comics for over six decades alongside some genuinely colorful company.
