Photon

Photon is a superhero operating in the Image universe, most closely associated with Youngblood and its related titles, fighting alongside teammates such as Cougar, Sentinel, and Riptide in one of Image's flagship super-team franchises.

Photon made their entrance in 1987's Megaton Explosion: Who's Who in Megaton Comics? #1, arriving at the dawn of what would become one of comics' most energetic eras and going on to rack up over five decades' worth of appearances stretching all the way to 2020. Most at home in the pages of Youngblood, Team Youngblood, and Supreme — the bold, boundary-pushing corner of the Image universe — this character keeps vivid company alongside the likes of Cougar, Sentinel, Riptide, and Marcus Langston. With two key-issue appearances to their name and a publishing lifespan of more than thirty years, Photon is a Copper-to-Modern Age survivor well worth tracking down for any serious Image collector.
