Ninjara
Ninjara is an anthropomorphic fox warrior from a hidden tribe of fox-people in Japan, introduced in the Archie Comics continuity of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures. She crosses paths with the Turtles and becomes a skilled, fiercely independent ally.
Ninjara burst onto the scene in 1992, a creation of Eric Talbot, Dean Clarrain, and Chris Allan that brought something genuinely fresh to Archie's beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures β a title that consistently pushed beyond its cartoon origins into richer, more adventurous territory. Sharing pages with Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Splinter themselves, she earned her place among that iconic company across a run that stretched a remarkable 22 years from her Copper Age debut all the way to 2014. Her appearances span TMNT Adventures, the Giant Size Special, and even the anthology series Furrlough, marking her as a character with genuine staying power in the hearts of fans who grew up with the Archie universe. If you've never explored what made the Archie TMNT run so special, Ninjara is exactly the kind of character who makes the case for it.
