About the series
Launching from the pages of Archie's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this 1992–1993 spin-off gave the spotlight to a ragtag team of mutated allies. With Dean Clarrain and Phil Nutman scripting and artists like Mike Kazaleh, Garrett Ho, and Ken Mitchroney bringing the action to life, the series followed Leatherhead, Man Ray, Mondo Gecko, and their comrades as they carved out their own heroic identity. A short-lived but fondly remembered expansion of the TMNT universe, Mighty Mutanimals showcased the broader world of animalian adventurers beyond the four brothers.
