Fresh out of Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto's bold reimagining of the Ultimate universe, this incarnation of Mysterio made their debut in 2025 — a Modern Age arrival stepping into one of Marvel's most storied names. With only a handful of appearances so far, this is a character right at the ground floor, sharing the pages of Ultimate Spider-Man with a remarkable cast that includes Spider-Man, Black Cat, Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy, and J. Jonah Jameson. If Hickman's track record means anything, getting in early on this Mysterio is exactly the kind of move collectors will be talking about later.
