Microcosmus
Stepping out of the beloved world of Asterix in 1973, Microcosmus is a Bronze Age creation brought to life by the legendary team of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, with Gudrun Penndorf contributing to that debut. Appearing across both the classic Asterix series and the dialect-rich Asterix Mundart collection published by Egmont Ehapa, this character has kept remarkably eclectic company over the decades — sharing pages with the likes of Obelix, Julius Cäsar, and the wonderfully named Jellosubmarine. With a publishing span stretching from 1973 all the way to 2018, Microcosmus is a testament to the enduring, ever-expanding universe that Goscinny and Uderzo built — a small but genuine piece of one of comics' most cherished and long-lived franchises.
