Julius Mullarkey
Gary Frank and Graham Marks introduced Julius Mullarkey to Marvel UK readers in 1992's Motormouth #1, planting him firmly in the vibrant, ambitious wave of British superhero comics that defined the Copper/Modern Age. Over a surprisingly durable span stretching all the way to 2014, he's kept exceptional company β sharing pages with the likes of Motormouth, Killpower, Shevaun Haldane, and Minion across titles including Dark Guard and Captain Britain and MI13. That last series alone speaks to his staying power; Captain Britain and MI13 is one of Marvel UK's most celebrated corners of the Marvel Universe, and Julius was there for it. With only eleven catalogued appearances he's a genuine deep-cut discovery, the kind of character that rewards the curious collector willing to dig into Britain's rich comics heritage.
