About the series
In the early '90s, Marvel UK launched Motormouth & Killpower, a brash, seven-issue series that paired a sharp-tongued young woman with a monstrous, alien-powered enforcer. Written primarily by Graham Marks, John Freeman, and Andrew Cartmel, with art from Rosie Mendoza, Edmund Perryman, and Gary Frank, the book carved out a loud, punk-infused corner of the British superhero scene. It mattered as a short-lived but distinctive attempt to blend cosmic Marvel chaos with UK indie attitude, showcasing rising talents before they moved on to bigger things.
