Jango Fett
A legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter, Jango Fett served as the genetic template for the Republic's vast clone army. Raised among Mandalorian warriors, he became one of the galaxy's most feared mercenaries, eventually accepting Kaminoan scientists' offer in exchange for an unaltered clone to raise as his son.
Jango Fett made his comics debut in the Modern Age with Star Wars: Jango Fett #1 in 2002, brought to the page by creator Tom Fowler for Dark Horse Comics. This galaxy-renowned bounty hunter has since carved out a presence across more than two decades of Star Wars comics, appearing in titles ranging from Attack of the Clones adaptations to Star Wars: Jedi Knights, sharing panels with some of the saga's most iconic figures — Boba Fett, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and Yoda among them. With only around 20 catalog appearances, Jango remains a concentrated presence rather than an omnipresent one, making each issue he graces feel like a genuine find for the dedicated Star Wars comics collector.
