Heather McNeil Hudson
Heather McNeil Hudson is a founding figure of Alpha Flight, Canada's premier government-sponsored super-team. Originally the wife of team leader James MacDonald Hudson (Guardian), she plays a central leadership and organizational role within the group.
Heather McNeil Hudson stepped onto the Marvel stage in Alpha Flight #1 in 1983, part of John Byrne's celebrated Bronze Age launch of Canada's premier super-team. She shares her adventures with a memorable cast β Puck, Eugene Judd, Shaman, Michael Twoyoungmen, and Aurora among them β placing her at the heart of one of Marvel's most distinctive ensembles of the era. Two of her appearances carry key-issue status, a mark of real collector significance for a character whose catalog footprint spans some genuinely eclectic corners of the Marvel universe, including turns in G.I. Joe, a Real American Hero. For fans who love the rich, character-driven storytelling of early-'80s Marvel, Heather McNeil Hudson is absolutely worth seeking out.
