Who is Goliath?

Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye, temporarily adopted the Goliath identity, using Pym Particles to grow to enormous size as a member of the Avengers. This French edition introduced Marvel's size-changing hero to Francophone readers.

Stepping onto the Bronze Age stage in 1971's Strange #18 — brought to life by the legendary trio of Stan Lee, Denny O'Neil, and John Romita — Goliath is a Marvel figure with serious pedigree from the very first page. Published across an impressive span stretching all the way to 2021, this character has kept remarkable company, sharing adventures with the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, Vision, and Clint Barton across titles including Les Vengeurs and the Hachette collection series. With a key issue already to their name and fifty years of appearances on the books, Goliath is exactly the kind of character that rewards the curious collector who digs a little deeper into Marvel's rich Bronze Age tapestry.
