Giganto

Giganto is a colossal subterranean monster under the command of the Mole Man, ruler of Monster Island. One of the giant creatures dwelling in the Earth's hidden depths, it serves as one of Mole Man's most powerful enforcers, capable of burrowing through rock and surviving underwater.

Few characters can claim they were there at the very beginning of the Marvel Age of comics, but Giganto can — debuting in the landmark Fantastic Four #1 in 1961, the very issue that launched Marvel's Silver Age revolution.
