Straight out of the patriotic fervor of 1943, Flatbush made their Golden Age debut in the pages of Pep Comics #35, brought to life by creator Red Holmdale for what was then MLJ Comics — the house that would become Archie. Sharing those wartime pages with the likes of Joe Higgins, Captain Commando, and Dusty, Flatbush kept genuinely heroic company during one of comics' most electrifying eras.
