Dolly Donahue

A product of Marvel's fertile Bronze Age, Dolly Donahue stepped onto the scene in 1980's The Defenders #89, brought to life by a creative team that included David Anthony Kraft, Ed Hannigan, Don Perlin, and Pablo Marcos. Her handful of appearances across the early 1980s place her squarely in the orbit of some of Marvel's most distinctive and unconventional heroes — sharing pages with the likes of Valkyrie, Gargoyle, and Beast. She may be a modest presence in the catalog with eight appearances to her name, but that's part of her charm: a genuine piece of Bronze Age texture, the kind of character who gives The Defenders its wonderfully offbeat, street-level soul.
