Who is Cosmos?

Cosmos is an Autobot from the Transformers universe — a small, saucer-shaped robot whose alternate mode is a flying saucer. He serves as a scout and space-faring ally, often working alongside Optimus Prime and other Autobots in their ongoing war against the Decepticons.

A veteran of the Copper Age Transformers universe, Cosmos made their debut in the pages of Marvel's The Transformers #17 in 1986, brought to life by the celebrated creative team of Bob Budiansky and Don Perlin. Sharing adventures across nearly four decades alongside iconic figures like Optimus Prime, Blaster, and Perceptor, this character has quietly persisted through the ever-expanding Transformers mythology from 1986 all the way to 2025. With appearances catalogued across The Transformers and the Transformers Compendium, Cosmos represents exactly the kind of deep-cut discovery that rewards dedicated collectors — a genuine piece of Copper Age history still turning up in modern pages.
