Beautiful Dreamer

Beautiful Dreamer is a Morlock — a mutant outcast dwelling in the tunnels beneath New York City — with the ability to induce dream-like trances in others. She debuted alongside fellow Morlocks, including Leech, crossing paths with the young heroes of Power Pack.

Dreaming up trouble since the Bronze Age, Beautiful Dreamer made her Marvel debut in Power Pack #12 in 1985, brought to life by the celebrated creative team of Louise Simonson and June Brigman. Over four decades she's woven through the Marvel universe, turning up in titles as varied as X-Factor, Power Pack, and the recent Laura Kinney: Wolverine, sharing pages with heavy-hitters like Wolverine, Scott Summers, and the fan-favorite Leech. Her appearances may be select — which makes that one collector-significant key issue all the more worth hunting down — but her staying power across 40 years of Marvel history marks her as a quietly enduring figure well worth a second look.
