Alf

Debuting in the pages of Tina in 1971, Alf is a Bronze Age creation from De Spaarnestad, brought to life by A. E. Allen for the beloved Dutch girls' comics anthology. Sharing those illustrated pages with the likes of Tina Ruysdal, Lex, Pinky, and Bob, Alf found a home across Tina and its companion volumes including Groot Tina Boek. A modest but genuine piece of early-seventies European comics history, Alf represents the warm, character-driven storytelling that made Tina a fixture for young readers through the mid-seventies.
