Adam Grant
Adam Grant is the young son of Daily Planet entertainment reporter Cat Grant, introduced during John Byrne's post-Crisis Superman run. Growing up in Metropolis, he becomes a recurring presence in Clark Kent's world amid the reimagined Superman mythology of the late 1980s.
A child of the Copper Age Superman mythology, Adam Grant made his debut in Superman #10 in 1987 under the pen of the legendary John Byrne β right at the heart of DC's bold post-Crisis reinvention of the Man of Steel. With only 13 catalogued appearances spread across Adventures of Superman, Superman, and Action Comics Annual, Adam is a compact but meaningful presence in the Superman corner of the DC universe, sharing those storied pages with Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Perry White, and the Man of Steel himself. Collectors take note: one of those appearances carries key-issue status, making this brief but genuine piece of Superman history well worth tracking down.
