Warlord of Mars

From 2011, Dynamite Entertainment launched Warlord of Mars, a four-issue comic series adapting Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic Barsoom adventures. Guided primarily by writer Arvid Nelson, with artwork from Edgar Salazar, Everton Sousa, and Stephen Sadowski, the series brings John Carter, the warrior Dejah Thoris, and the noble Thark Tars Tarkas to vivid life on the red planet. It stands as a faithful, action-packed entry in the long-running tradition of pulp-inspired comics, reintroducing Burroughs’ iconic Martian saga to a new generation of readers.
