About the series
From 1967 to 1968, Charlton Comics revved up five issues of Top Eliminator, a high-octane comic centered on drag-racing daredevil Scot Jackson. Regular writer Joe Gill and artists Edd Ashe, Charles Nicholas, and Jack Keller fueled the series with gritty, gearhead drama and stripped-down action. A short-lived but energetic snapshot of late-60s hot-rod culture, it's a cult favorite for fans of Charlton's no-frills genre storytelling.
