About the series
From 1948 to 1949, Charlton Comics published Tim McCoy, a six-issue Western series starring the real-life cowboy actor as a frontier hero. Written and drawn primarily by Lee Sherman, with additional art by James McKell, the book also featured the legendary folk character Pecos Bill in its pages.
