Tim Corrigan's Superhero Comics

Timothy R. Corrigan · 1974–1976 · 7 issues
About the series

A short-lived but creatively fertile series from the mid-1970s, Tim Corrigan's Superhero Comics ran for seven issues and served as a showcase for the talents of its publisher, Timothy R. Corrigan, who wrote and drew much of the book alongside emerging artists like Jerry Ordway and Karl Kesel. Though brief, the series is notable as an early proving ground for Ordway and Kesel, both of whom would go on to become major figures in mainstream comics. It remains a fascinating snapshot of the independent comics scene of the era, where creators could experiment with superhero concepts outside the constraints of the Big Two.
