The title centered on time-traveling hero Restin Dane, known as The Rook, who crossed paths with figures like Sherlock Holmes, John Watson, and the American Eagle, while also facing the alien Voltar. Anchored by frequent writers Will Richardson, Bill DuBay, and Budd Lewis, and brought to life by artists such as Lee Elias, Luis Bermejo, and Anton Caravana, the magazine stood out for its pulpy, genre-mixing ambition during Warren’s horror-dominated era.
