About the series
Co-created by Kurt Busiek and Tom Grummett, this short-lived DC series from the early 2000s follows a team of superheroes who are also employees of a law firm specializing in metahuman legal issues. Led by the enigmatic Josiah Power, the group—including the armored Manhunter and the energy-wielding Bork—balances crime-fighting with the gritty realities of corporate law and public relations. With a rotating art team that also included Gary Chaloner and Steve Sadowski, The Power Company offered a grounded, character-driven take on the superhero genre, exploring the intersection of heroics and the legal system.
