About the series
In 2014, DC Comics published The Names, a nine-issue thriller series written by Peter Milligan and illustrated by Leandro Fernández. The story follows a mysterious organization whose members bear the names of ancient gods, drawing a journalist into a deadly conspiracy that blurs the line between corporate power and mythic destiny. Its taut, noir-inflected narrative and Fernández's visceral artwork created a grounded yet unsettling modern fable about identity and influence.
