About the series
From 2001 onward, Image Comics presented Tellos, a high-fantasy adventure series by writer Todd DeZago and artist Mike Wieringo. Spanning just two issues, this initial run introduced readers to a vibrant world of magic, warriors, and talking animals, showcasing the duo's signature blend of kinetic storytelling and warm, expressive art. Though brief, the series remains a fondly remembered showcase of Wieringo's dynamic, cartoon-inspired style and DeZago's imaginative world-building.
