About the series
A short-lived but punchy DC series from 2022–2023, Task Force Z was a two-issue miniseries by writer Matthew Rosenberg and artists Eddy Barrows and Jack Herbert. It dropped a squad of reanimated, zombie-like villains into the field for covert black-ops missions, blending undead action with the morally murky corners of the DCU. Though brief, it offered a fresh, grim twist on the team-up concept.
