Spunky

Farrell · 1957–1958 · 4 issues
About the series

In 1957 and 1958, Farrell Publications released four issues of Spunky, a short-lived comic series that starred a mischievous young boy and his colorful adventures. The title is most closely associated with the work of artists Al Fago and the studio known as Jason Comic Art, who provided the energetic, cartoonish visuals typical of the era. Though brief, Spunky offers a charming snapshot of late-1950s children's humor comics from a smaller publisher.
