Skypilot

A short-lived but visually striking Ziff-Davis comic from 1950–1951, Skypilot ran for just two issues and was most frequently illustrated by Frank Borth. The series followed John Hawks, a pilot in the frozen North, alongside his companions Naluk and the wolf Snowfang, blending aviation adventure with Arctic survival. Though brief, it stands as a distinctive artifact of early 1950s genre comics, offering a rugged, cold-climate spin on the airborne hero.
