About the series
From 2004, IDW brought the dread of Konami's survival-horror video game into comics with Silent Hill: Dying Inside, a five-issue miniseries written by Scott Ciencin. The story follows a man haunted by the fog-shrouded town's monstrous manifestations, rendered in the grimy, nightmarish style of artists Aadi Salman and Ben Templesmith. This series helped establish the Silent Hill comics line as a legitimate extension of the game's psychological horror, leaning into the series' signature blend of personal trauma and visceral terror.
