Robin de Sherwood

A short-lived but atmospheric French comic from Editions Carabas, Robin de Sherwood (2004–present) reimagines the Robin Hood legend through a dark, folk-horror lens. Published as a single issue, it blends medieval adventure with supernatural undertones, distinct from the more familiar heroic portrayals. The series is notable for its moody, painterly art and its attempt to ground the outlaw myth in a grittier, more mythic Sherwood Forest.
