This first volume of the Robin de Sherwood series collects the opening story arc, 'Proscrit,' which reimagines the classic Robin Hood legend with a gritty, historical fantasy twist. Written by Jean-David Morvan and illustrated by Pierre Alary, the story follows Robin of Loxley as he is outlawed and begins his life in Sherwood Forest, setting the stage for his band of rebels. Published by Editions Carabas in 2004, this trade paperback introduces the series' dark, atmospheric art and character-driven narrative.
