About the series
Following the controversial resurrection of Jason Todd, this 2012 DC series reimagined the former Robin as the leader of a renegade team alongside the alien Starfire and the archer Arsenal. Writer Scott Lobdell, with artists including Kenneth Rocafort, charted the Outlaws’ globe-trotting adventures as they operated outside the bounds of Batman’s code. Over its seven-issue run, the series carved out a distinct, action-heavy corner of the New 52 universe, exploring themes of redemption and found family among its outcast heroes.
