R.E.B.E.L.S. '96

In 1996, DC Comics launched a short-lived three-issue series starring the R.E.B.E.L.S., a team of alien freedom fighters. Writer Tom Peyer and artist Derec Aucoin crafted a standalone sci-fi adventure, distinct from the team’s earlier appearances, that pitted its heroes against a cosmic threat. Though brief, the series is a compact example of mid-90s DC space opera storytelling.
