Pocketserien

From 1995 to 2001, the Norwegian publisher Bladkompaniet (later Schibsted) released Pocketserien, a 30-issue comic series that packaged a variety of adventure, humor, and genre stories in a pocket-sized format. The series drew heavily on the work of writers like Robert Wood, Iselin Røsjø Evensen, and Gerard Jones, with artists such as Mike Docherty, Cazo, and Gary Hallgren providing the visuals. It stands as a notable example of late-20th-century European pocket comics, offering accessible, escapist reading in a compact form.
