About the series
In this 2009 Image Comics miniseries, writer Nathan Edmondson and artist Christian Ward reimagine the Greek gods as a dysfunctional, modern-day family living in a secluded mansion, struggling with their own mortality and the fallout of ancient grudges. Ward’s vibrant, psychedelic artwork gives the Olympians a fresh, otherworldly look, while Edmondson’s script grounds their divine drama in very human conflict. Though only four issues long, this series stands out for its bold visual style and its intimate, character-driven take on mythology.
