Christian Ward's watercolor-washed cover for Olympus #3 sets an immediately arresting mood: a gun-wielding young man and a fierce white-haired woman tumble together through a swirling, snow-flecked void while deep crimson hands reach up from below, grasping at them from the darkness. It's a striking visual tension — urgent and otherworldly at once — that fits the story's title, "Chilled," perfectly. Nathan Edmondson and Ward's 2009 Image series continues to earn its Comics Nexus praise for "style, grace and dynamism" right here on the cover.
