Marvel History

From 2004 to 2007, Panini Deutschland released Marvel History, an eight-issue comic series that re-presented classic Marvel tales for a German audience. Anchored by the foundational work of writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the series focused on the early adventures of the X-Men, featuring key characters like Professor Charles Xavier, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman (Bobby Drake), and the villainous Blob. Writer Michael Strittmatter contributed to the series, which served as a curated introduction to Marvel's seminal mutant mythology.
