Marsupilami

In 1987, Marsu Productions launched the solo adventures of the Marsupilami, the long-tailed, polka-dotted creature André Franquin had famously created for the Spirou et Fantasio series. Over 33 issues spanning more than three decades, the series put the playful jungle animal front and center, with Batem and Stéphane Colman as the primary artistic team, often joined by Yann on scripts. This spin-off established the Marsupilami as a star in its own right, expanding its world into a lighthearted, all-ages franchise beloved in European comics.
