Mandra

Dick Wood and André LeBlanc brought this short-lived Semic series to life across six issues in the late 1960s. A supernatural adventure comic, Mandra follows a mysterious, powerful woman whose origins and abilities are slowly revealed. Though brief, the series stands out for its atmospheric art and its attempt to blend gothic horror with heroic fantasy during a transitional era in European and American comics.
