In the pages of French publisher Albin Michel, Léon-la-terreur ran from 1980 to 1990 as a five-issue series driven by the distinctive art of Theo van den Boogaard. This short-lived but memorable run chronicles the exploits of its titular anti-hero, a brutish, cynical figure navigating a world of absurdity and dark humor. Van den Boogaard's expressive, often grotesque linework gave the series a raw, satirical edge, cementing it as a cult artifact of European adult comics.
