Kit Carson

Kit Carson, published by Avon from 1950 to 1955, ran for seven issues of frontier adventure starring the legendary frontiersman. The series was most frequently illustrated by Everett Raymond Kinstler and Carmine Infantino, whose dynamic artwork brought the Old West to life. Though short-lived, it stands as a solid example of the Western comic boom of the early 1950s, showcasing two artists who would go on to greater fame in the industry.
