Kirby : Genesis

In 2011 and 2012, Panini France published Kirby: Genesis, a two-issue series that reimagines Jack Kirby’s cosmic concepts through the lens of writer/artist Alex Ross, alongside co-writers Kurt Busiek and Khaled Tadil, with art by Jackson Herbert. The series serves as a modern, reverent expansion of Kirby’s grand mythos, bridging his original 1970s creations with a new narrative scope. Though brief, it stands as a notable tribute to Kirby’s visionary storytelling, showcasing Ross’s signature painted style and Busiek’s narrative depth.
