Jesters League of America

Topps’s Jesters League of America is a single-issue 1967 oddity, a comic-book one-off from the trading card company’s brief publishing foray. Scripted by Len Brown and Roy Thomas with dynamic art by Gil Kane, it presents a team of costumed pranksters in a lighthearted superhero spoof. Though it never continued beyond that first issue, it remains a curious artifact of mid-’60s pop culture and a showcase for Kane’s signature action-packed linework.
