About the series
In the mid-1990s, DC Comics published this five-issue miniseries written and illustrated entirely by singular creator Ted McKeever. A dark, expressionistic work, Industrial Gothic blends urban decay with surreal horror, following a downtrodden man whose life unravels after a bizarre encounter with a mysterious woman and a strange, otherworldly artifact. McKeever’s jagged, ink-heavy art and bleak, off-kilter storytelling mark it as a cult artifact of the era’s more experimental edge.
