Over a dozen issues from 1983 to 1985, French publisher Arédit-Artima gave Hercule his own series, spotlighting the legendary strongman in solo adventures. Writers Bob Rozakis, Gerry Conway, and Paul Levitz, alongside artists Alex Saviuk, Jimmy Janes, and José Delbo, brought a mix of mythic battles and modern sensibilities to the character.
