About the series
Hellverine (2024–present) is a four-issue Marvel miniseries written by Benjamin Percy with art by Julius Ohta. It follows Akihiro—the son of Wolverine—as he is transformed into the demonic Hellverine, bound to the spirit Bagra-ghul and caught in a supernatural conflict with Mephisto. This series expands the Wolverine mythos into darker, hellish territory, exploring legacy and possession through a horror-tinged lens.
