Hellverine #2

The second issue of Marvel's 2024 Hellverine series arrives with a cover by Ryan Stegman and J. P. Mayer that wastes no time making an impression — a flaming-skulled figure dominates the foreground, surrounded by a quartet of dark, battle-worn figures crackling with hellfire and chains against a foreboding stone backdrop. The whole group radiates a menacing, supernatural energy that fits the "Destroyers" story title perfectly. Benjamin Percy, Julius Ohta, and colorist Frank D'Armata bring this infernal corner of the Marvel Universe to life with a creative team clearly committed to turning up the heat.
