Heartbeat Romances

K. G. Murray’s Heartbeat Romances (1965–1975) was a 20-issue Australian romance comic that blended the talents of American and European artists, most notably Dick Giordano, the pseudonymous Pujol, and Spanish illustrator Félix Mas. The series offered a moody, stylish take on love and longing, distinct from the more saccharine romance books of the era.
